Applied basics of cake decorating. Hands-on practice includes the identification and use of cake decorating equipment, making and tinting of four types of icings, and icing various types of cakes (layered and shaped), using writing, star, leaf, drop flower and rose tips. Course work also includes making bouquets of flowers to decorate cakes. American decorating styles are featured. 1 Credit (0 Lecture - 3 Lab) Corequisite(s): FHD118.
