Survey of various industrial processes concentrating on the raw materials and the wastes, emissions and discharges generated. The materials balance concept is emphasized. Special attention is given to source reduction of wastes, including the economic value, the social value, and the regulatory requirements. 4 Credits (3 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CHM111 and ENV125 and Placement by Examination or CHM111 and ENV125 and MTH006.
