Masters of Science Fiction

Historical survey of science fiction literature, from its modern beginnings to its current status as the literature of change. Focus is on hard science fiction and social speculation, rather than fantasy and horror. Discussion includes classic short stories, novels, and films that use contemporary science and technology to develop literary themes with scientific rigor. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): ENL121 or ENL201.
