Operating Systems Concepts I
This course presents an introduction to the fundamental principles of operating systems. The course will provide a student with an in-depth study of the internal operations and the technical terminology of a computer system. Students will be introduced to various operating system topics including common features of operating systems, operating system services, process management, threads, CPU scheduling, memory management, virtual memory, process synchronization, and deadlocks. (Formerly CSC383) 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab)
Prerequisite(s): CIT240 or CIT260. As needed.
