Gaming and Simulation Design Principles I

Introduction to the fundamentals of simulation and game design. Some topics include the role of game designer, game structure, prototyping, dynamics, esthetics and mechanics principals, and use of industry standard templates. Study includes units of probability related to game design. Course work includes guided hands-on activities that enhance the learning experience. 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CIT112 and CIT160.
