One-credit, one-semester course in information literacy and literature research as they apply to the field of chemistry. Emphasis on identifying a thesis statement and information needs, obtaining information from scientific databases, and evaluating and organizing information. The course culminates in an oral and a web-based presentation of a research project conducted by the student. This course is required for students pursuing a minor in chemistry. 1 Credit (1 Lecture - 0 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CHM204 and CSC110 and ENL201 and MTH160 and SPC101 or CHM204 and CSC124 and ENL201 and MTH160 and SPC101.
