Use of conventional symbols in mapping, the construction of large-scale topographic maps, contours, slopes, features, profiles, photographic and map interpretation. Methods of plotting, use and construction of small scale maps, the Earth's coordinate systems, map projections, enlargement and reduction of maps, map digitizing, geographic information systems, thematic maps, computer applications. 3 Credits (1 Lecture - 6 Lab) Prerequisite(s): CSC110 and MTH180 or CSC110 and MTH240 or CSC124 and MTH180 or CSC124 and MTH240. Spring Only.
