Fundamentals of Engineered Systems Design

Introduction to engineered systems design. Topics include heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics as they relate to HVACR systems as well as an introduction to building thermal load calculations and basic air distribution design. The course covers the different types of equipment and the proper selection for each application. (Formerly BHV310) 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab) Prerequisite(s): ACR236 and ACR238.
