Analysis of the technological trends in the automotive industry and how changes in the past, present, and future affect the technician's job duties, manager's decisions, and society as a whole. Examination of the science behind the operating principles that can change automotive technology as well as how business and society adapt to emerging technology. To promote understanding of the course content, course projects, study of engineering functions, and collection of technical data using special equipment may be integrated when appropriate. Furthermore, this course adheres to NAIT accreditation standards for the Automotive Technology Management program. (Formerly AMT336) 3 Credits (3 Lecture - 0 Lab) Corequisite(s): ABM350 or AMT312.
