Opportunities
New Student Orientation Programs
Two-day summer orientation (Connections) designed to help new students and their parents prepare for the year ahead, and a weekend-long series (Welcome Weekend) of workshops and social activities for students only.
Study Abroad
Opportunity to study overseas (Germany, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Japan, or France) while earning credits toward a Penn College degree.

Assistance for current students, regardless of financial status, who would like to secure off-campus employment.

Services cover a wide array of personal, academic, and mental health issues.
Pre-Enrollment Testing & Advising
Placement testing for new students as well as pre-enrollment information and first-semester scheduling.
Disability Services
Services and advice for students with documented disabilities who desire full participation in College activities and programs.
College Health Services
First aid, health counseling, and other medical services offered by full- and part-time registered nurses.
Academic Support
Project Success
Free study-skills program open to all students. Topics include time management, textbook skills, memorization, test taking, learning styles, and critical thinking.
Smarthinking
Online tutoring and writing services available 24/7.
Supplemental Instruction
Group sessions to help students enrolled in particularly challenging courses.
Tutoring as well as help with study and time-management skills. Low-income, first-generation college students are eligible, as are those with a physical or learning disability.
Tutoring Center
Free tutoring by both peer and professioacademicsupportnal tutors. English and math throughout the day, walk-in's welcome; other subjects by appointment.
College Library
More than just a large book and periodical collection, the Madigan Library offers reference assistance, study rooms, computers, wireless Internet access, online databases, assistive technology, inner-library loan, Bookmarks Cafe, and more.
