Advanced Sheet Metal Structures
Advanced study of aircraft sheet metal structures. Topics include repair techniques and communication with aircraft manufacturers, federal aviation administration, and aircraft structural engineers. Emphasis on FAA required data, forms, and records. Research element: results of past incorrect structural repairs. Course work includes a sheet metal project, to be built and repaired using advanced fasteners. 3 Credits (2 Lecture - 3 Lab)
Prerequisite(s): AVC108 and AVC309. Fall Only.
