Shielded Metal Arc IV/Pipe Welding
Structural and pipe welding techniques will be emphasized using various types of electrodes using shielded metal arc welding. Specifications of the ASME, ASTM, API will be used and the AWS numbering systems will be covered. Students will learn the concept of air carbon arc gouging and safety required. 2 Credits (1 Lecture - 3 Lab)
Corequisite(s): WEL230 and WEL234 and WEL239. Spring Only.
