EnviroNet Systems, formally known as GKCL Building Systems, L.L.C., was founded on September 1, 1995. Its formation was the result of market trends towards integrated systems. Since our inception, we have grown significantly, and have successfully completed well over 150 projects. We are an authorized Distech Controls, open System Solution Provider, specializing in Lon Works, for New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) projects. The SCA has become a significant part of our project portfolio, and have completed as well as have in progress several million dollars in SCA control systems. Our BACnet offering is based on products and systems manufactured by KMC Controls of New Paris, Indiana. KMC Controls addresses a global market, and designs and manufactures all of its products in the United States. We are a Tridium Systems Integrator, integrating subsystems that communicate using BACnet, LonWorks and Modbus together to create a interoperable environment transparent to the building operator. As a Tridium Systems Integrator, we combine LonWorks based products of various manufacturers, and integrate them into a comprehensive group of subsystems accessible from a common network environment. This allows our end users to access their systems over a corporate intranet as well as the Internet. We have positioned ourselves as pioneers in BMS Internet Connectivity, and have delivered such systems since 2000. EnviroNet Systems’ staff includes officers who are engineers, project application engineers, construction managers, and technicians. We respond to all of our customer needs in a timely manner, and have field qualified technical personnel available to respond to problems on a 24 hour 7 day basis. Our engineers have earned advanced degrees, and are specialists in control systems design, software, and field commissioning of all types of building systems. We believe our greatest values to be our technical expertise and project management ability. Where our competitors subcontract their installation, we perform and manage our own installation personnel. Through strategic relationships, we have overcome the obstacles of working in a strong union and licensed environment. While we retain the option of subcontracting our field installation labor, we run our own manpower, both electric and pneumatic trades. This provides us with a competitive edge, while enabling us to control the quality and schedule of our project installation. Our control panel fabrication is performed by specialists. Each panels’ wiring is pre-tested, then loaded with its software for testing on our real-time simulator and final quality assurance review. The completed panel is then sent to the job site or HVAC unit manufacturer for installation. Panels are started up, and the entire control system is commissioned and put into operation. Comprehensive end user owner training is provided toward the latter phase of our commissioning process. Once our project is closed out, we continue our relationship with the end user, providing technical support, including warranty and post warranty sales and service. We have a long-term view, and will not sacrifice customer satisfaction for short-term profit.
