Career Services for Parents
As a parent you are naturally invested in your student's academic and career success. You can assist your student in a variety of ways—through assisting them as they explore majors and career areas, encouraging their regular participation in Career Services' events, and sharing your own experiences. We also encourage parents to consider hiring Penn College students and alumni at their employment locations!
You can use a variety of resources to support your student's career development. Some of the Web resources we can offer to get you started include the employer web sites list and the collection of career resources. NACE Jobweb also provides wonderful resources for parents interested in supporting their student's career development, including some helpful “do's and don'ts”.
