Summer schedule

Offices are closed Friday afternoons during the summer (May 19 - August 1, 2008)

Summer hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Regular hours (Fall and Spring semesters)

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Date Activity
August 4 Tuition payments are due in Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts.

Payments received after this date will not be processed. The student’s class schedule will be canceled, and he/she will be required to attend Late Registration on Monday, August 11, and pay a $50 Late fee, in addition to tuition fees.

August 5-10 Students may not register for classes or change class schedules during this time. No registration activity will be permitted.
August 11 Advanced Drop/Add*

Only students who paid their tuition and were officially registered for classes by August 4 may use this time to drop or add classes.

August 11 Late Registration*

Students who did not pay their tuition by August 4 must attend Late Registration to reschedule their classes and must pay a $50 late fee, in addition to tuition and fees.

August 18 First day of classes and the last day students may drop classes without a financial penalty.

If you decide for any reason not to attend Penn College after you are officially registered, you must contact the Registrar's Office prior to August 18 or you will be held responsible for full payment.

August 22 Last day students may add a class to their Fall 2008 schedule.
September 5 Last day students may drop a class and receive a partial refund for regular 16-week classes.

Refunds for 8-week and other short-term classes are calculated separately.

October 2 Final day deferred payments may be made in the Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts.

Students must make full payment by this date or be assessed a 10% delinquent penalty.

All accounts that remain unpaid at the end of the semester may be turned over to a collection agency. Students are responsible for all collection costs and attorney fees – in addition to the principal and late fees.

* Students are assigned specific times to attend – between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for Advanced Drop/Add and between 1-6 p.m. for Late Registration. Contact the Registrar’s Office for more information.
