Payment FAQs

Q: How much do I owe? When is my payment due?

A: If your “current balance due” 1 is $0.00 or if the amount is followed by “CR, you will automatically be registered for classes.

If you have a balance due, the amount you owe 1 is shown as “current balance due” on your bill along with payment options that are available to you2. Any payments3 received in the Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts by the date shown on your bill are credited to your account on this bill.

Payment must be received no later than Monday, August 4, 2008. If you intend to mail your payment, send it early to ensure that it arrives in the Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts on or before August 4. Payment must be received (not just mailed or postmarked) by August 4. You may pay by credit card online by logging in to SIS.

When your appropriate payment is received by August 4, you will be officially registered for classes.

If your payment is not received by August 4, your class schedule will be canceled and you will be required to attend in-person Late Registration on Monday, August 11. You will be charged a $50 late fee, in addition to your tuition and fees. The Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts will not process any payments received after August 4.

Q: How is my financial aid credited on my bill?

A: All financial aid, including PHEAA, PELL and SEOG grants 4 and student/parent loan funds 5, approved by the Financial Aid Office at the time of the billing is noted as a pending credit on your bill.

Financial aid credits are not officially applied to your account or refunded until the College receives the funds.

If you have loans pending, you will be notified when the College receives the funds. You will be told what actions you need to take. You may be required to go to the Bursar’s Office/Student Accounts to endorse your check(s).

Q: What if I decide not to attend classes?

A: If you decide not to attend classes after you are officially registered, you must notify the Registrar’s Office prior to August 18, or you will be held responsible for full payment.
