LOUISVILLE, K.Y. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology women's volleyball team lost 2-0 to PSU Mont Alto in the final game of pool play at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship tournament. The loss drops the team out of the tournament having gone 0-4 in play. Freshman Courtney Gernert (Palmyra) nothed five kills to lead the Wildcats in the loss. The team ends the season 20-13 overall.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) notched 41 assists but the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team had a tough day at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. The #8 Wildcats played three games in pool play and lost all best-of-three matches.

Four Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball players earned Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Conference honors this season. Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg), junior Tara Powell (Burgettstown), sophomore Lindsay Moyer (Canton) and freshman Kelly Hebert (Wellsboro) all made the cut, with Hebert named "Newcomer of the Year" and Smith "Setter of the Year."

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Freshman Kelly Hebert (Wellsboro) had eight kills but the Pennsylvania College of Technology lost 3-1 to Penn State Fayette in the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship. Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) had 23 assists in the match that was played at Rec Hall on the campus of Penn State University.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Freshman Courtney Gernert (Palmyra) notched 17 kills to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Penn State Wilkes Barre in the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship Semifinals. The match, held at Rec Hall on the campus of Penn State University, was highly contested with back and forth momentum throughout. The Wildcats will face the winner of #1 PSU Fayette and #4 PSU Mont Alto in the Championships.

WILKES BARRE, Pa. – Freshman Kelly Hebert (Wellsboro) notched 22 kills as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team defeated Penn State Scranton and Wilkes Barre Sunday. The Wildcats swept Scranton 3-0 and took Wilkes Barre to five. They end the regular season 19-8 overall and 15-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats totaled 10 blocks as a team in the dominant performance. Penn College improves to 17-8 overall and 13-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Lindsay Moyer had seven kills and three blocks but the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team lost 3-1 to Elmira College Thursday night. The Wildcats took the first set 25-23 but were swept in the next three 25-16, 25-13, 25-13. The loss drops the team to 8-7 overall.

Penn College now improves to 6-6 overall and stays perfect in the PSUAC 3-0.

The Wildcats swept Morrisville State 3-0 in the opener but fell to Alfred 4-1. Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) had 55 assists in the two matches.

The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Warriors and took the Crusaders to five as they fall to 1-4 overall.

MONACA, Pa. – Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) was named to the Penn State Beaver Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team as she helped Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball defeat the host school 3-0 on day two of the tournament. The Wildcats started off the day with conference rival Penn State Fayette and lost 3-0 before sweeping Beaver in the consolation round.

MONACA, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball dropped its first game of the season 3-0 against a tough Rochester College at the Penn State Beaver Volleyball Classic. “It was our first match,” said head coach Bambi Hawkins. “We came out really strong, but Rochester is a good team and already had played six games.” The win improves the Warriors to 5-2 while the Wildcats start the season 0-1.
