WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn State Fayette ended the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team’s 2010 season as it defeated the Wildcats 3-0 in the PSUAC Conference Championships Semifinals. Freshman Samantha Davis (North Apollo) had six kills and four blocks to lead the team. Despite the loss, Penn College ends its season with an impressive 17-7 overall record and 13-3 record in the PSUAC.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Lindsay Moyer (Canton) had 12 kills and five blocks to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Penn State Beaver in Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) playoff quarterfinals. The Wildcats advance to the semifinals at Penn State University in State College, Pa. on Friday, October 22.

DUBOIS, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team clinched a berth and the third seed in the PSUAC Championships as they went 2-0 at the Penn State DuBois tri-match Saturday. The Wildcats took on Penn State Scranton first and won easily 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-16) and then took on DuBois and edged them out 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-14). These matches conclude the regular season as Penn College enters post season play 16-6 overall.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team won in straight sets over conference rival Penn State Brandywine Thursday night. The Wildcats had a tough two first sets with back and forth play winning those 25-17 and 25-18. Things would settle down in the third as they cruised to a 25-12 victory. Penn College now improves to 14-6 overall and 11-3 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

MCKEESPORT, Pa. – Freshman Samantha Davis (North Apollo) had 16 kills and 11 blocks and two service aces as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team split a tri-match defeating Penn State New Kensington 3-0 and losing to Penn State Fayette 3-2. The Wildcats are now 13-6 overall and 10-3 in the PSUAC keeping them third in the PSUAC standings.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team split a double header Saturday losing 5-4 to Penn State Beaver (8-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-14, 11-15) and winning 3-0 against Penn State Greater Allegheny (25-8, 25-5, 25-13). Freshman Lindsay Moyer (Canton) tallied 15 kills on the afternoon to lead the Wildcats. Penn College now improves to 12-5 overall and 9-2 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Lindsay Moyer (Canton) notched seven kills and four service aces to lead The Pennsylvania College of Technology Women’s Volleyball team to a dominating performance against Penn State Scranton Thursday. The Wildcats allowed only 26 total points to be scored by the Lions as they won in straight sets 25-7, 25-8, 25-11. Penn College now improves to 11-4 overall and 8-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology volleyball team went 1-1 as it hosted a tri match with Penn State York and Hazleton. The Wildcats dominated Hazleton with a 3-0 victory 25-11, 25-22 and 25-21. It was a five set marathon against Mont Alto, with Penn College just falling short of the victory 27-25, 25-20, 16-25, 22-25, 9-15. Penn College is now 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.

Junior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) had her targets locked as she had 25 assists in the match. Penn College now improves to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the PSUAC.

JENKINTOWN, Pa. – With the help of 17 kills, five service aces and eight digs from sophomore Tara Powell (Burgettstown), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team defeated Penn State Abington and Rutgers University-Newark in a tri-match hosted by Abington. The Wildcats swept both teams winning 3-0 and now improve to 3-2 overall.

MONACA, Pa. -The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team defeated Penn State Beaver 3-1 as it went 1-2 in the Penn State Beaver Volleyball Classic Friday and Saturday. The team’s two losses came against Ohio State Marion (3-1) and University of Cincinnati Clermont (3-1). Tara Powell (Burgettstown) was named to the All-Tournament Team as she notched 35 digs, 10 kills and three aces.
