The Lady Wildcats end the season 11-7-2CHARLESTON, W. Va. – Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) scored seven minutes in overtime to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeat #4 SUNY-ESF 2-1 in a consolation game of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Championships Friday. Sophomore Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) recorded the win in goal with 10 saves off of 16 shots. The game is the final for the 2013 season that sees #8 Penn College ending 11-7-2 overall.

Reda Vermilya and Colleen Bowes totaled 13 saves against Fort KentCHARLESTON, W. Va. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team faced a strong team in #1 Maine-Fort Kent losing 7-0 in the quarterfinals of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Championships Thursday. Sophomore Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) and freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) combined for 13 saves in goals for the game. With the loss, the Lady Wildcats fall to 10-7-2 overall.

Tara Bennethum scored in the second half to put the Lady Wildcats up earlyCHARLESTON, W. Va. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeated #9 University of Maine-Machias 7-9 after nine rounds of penalty kicks in the first round of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. With the game tied 1-1 in regulation, neither team was able to end it in extra time forcing penalty shots. Sophomore Laresa Paden (Mifflintown) scored the winner for the #8 Lady Wildcats with Machias missing its final shot hitting the crossbar. Freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded the win in goal.

Kierstin Craig-Sovic scored the lone goal for Penn CollegeSPARKILL, N.Y. – Despite 13 saves from freshman keeper Colleen Bowes (Wayne), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 2-1 in overtime to Div. II St. Thomas Aquinas Sunday. The Spartans dominated shooting totaling 28 to Penn College’s 14. Freshman Kierstin Craig-Sovic (Selinsgrove) scored the lone goal for the Lady Wildcats. With the loss, the team ends the regular season 9-6-2.

The Lady Wildcats outshot Valley Forge Christian 36-0PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. – Sophomores Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) and Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) each scored three goals to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to an 8-0 win over Valley Forge Christian College Friday. Sophomore Alexandra Brennan (Saint Clair) and freshman Kelsea Robbins (Milton) each scored a goal in the victory. With the win, Penn College improves to 9-5-2.

The Lady Wildcats are now 8-5-2 with the tieSELINSGROVE, Pa. – Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) notched a goal in the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team 1-1 tie to Susquehanna University Wednesday. Freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded 12 saves. The Crusaders dominated play outshooting Penn College 32-3. With the tie, the Lady Wildcats are now 8-5-2.

The Bengals were strong on possession outshooting the Penn College 25-8. With the loss, the Lady Wildcats drop to 8-5-1 overall.

Penn College outshot Greater Allegheny 20-2MCKEESPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team held Penn State Greater Allegheny to two shots on its way to a 13-0 win Sunday. Sophomore Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) and freshmen Kelsea Robbins (Milton) and Sadie Bebko (Allegheny, N.Y.) each scored two goals in the win. Freshman keeper Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded the win in goal with two saves. With the victory, Penn College improves to 8-4-1 overall.

The Lady Wildcats scored only one goal in the first but came alive in the second half scoring four. Freshman Colleen Bowes (Wayne) recorded a save for the win in goal. Beddow scored the game winner in the 90th for the Lady WildcatsWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) scored in the 90th minute to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to a 3-2 win over Carlow University Saturday. Beddow scored from sophomore Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) who had a breakaway and pulled the keeper out before sending the pass over to Beddow for the open netter. Beddow and Walters combined for all the goals for Penn College with the former notching two. With the win, the Lady Wildcats improve to 6-4 overall.

The win is the first time Penn College has ever defeated Lycoming in women's soccerWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – For the first time in Pennsylvania College of Technology history, the women’s soccer team defeated Lycoming College 3-1 Wednesday in the annual Battle for the Lumber. Freshman Kelsea Robbins (Milton) recorded the game winner for the team that came in the 57th. This is the second straight year the Lady Wildcats have won the Battle tying 0-0 last year but winning in a shootout. With the win, Penn College improves to 5-4 overall.

The Lady Wildcats are now 4-4 overallWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite eight saves from sophomore keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 3-2 to SUNY ESF Monday. The Oaks scored two late goals to steal victory away from the Lady Wildcats. Sophomore Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) and freshman Kelsea Robbins (Milton) each scored a goal. With the loss, Penn College falls to 4-4 overall.

Devon Suhadolnik scored the game winner in overtimeWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Devon Suhadolnik (Carbondale) scored the overtime winner in the 94th to lift the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Chatham University Saturday. The Lady Wildcats looked to take the game in regulation but a goal in the 90th from the Cougars pushed it to extra time. Sophomore keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) recorded the win in goal with a save. Penn College outshot Chatham 28-4. With the win, the team improves to 4-3 overall.

Valeria Passalacqua scored a goal in the first half for the Lady WildcatsWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) and freshmen Sadie Bebko (Allegany, N.Y.) and Kelsea Robbins (Milton) each recorded two goals to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to an 11-0 win over Penn State Beaver. The Lady Wildcats recorded nine goals in the first half including four in the first ten minutes. Freshman Colleen Bowes earns (Wayne) the win with the shutout off of one save. With the victory, Penn College improves to 3-3 overall.

The Lady Wildcats outshot Harrisburg 12-10 but struggled to find the net with only four on goal. With the loss, Penn College drops to 2-3 overall.

With the win, the Lady Wildcats even out their record to 1-1CLARKS SUMMIT – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team evened its record at 1-1 Saturday with a 3-1 victory at Baptist Bible College. Elisabeth Greis, of Pottsville, scored two goals for the Wildcats and Sarah Zeigler, of Liverpool, had two assists. Also scoring for the winners was Robyn Beddow, of Lancaster, while Kelsea Robbins, of Milton, added an assist. For the match, Penn College goalie Reda Vermilya, of Turbotville, had six saves. The Wildcats out-shot Baptist Bible, 38-9.

As a team, the Lady Wildcats recorded 19 shots and six corner kicksROSEMONT, Pa. – Sophomore keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) recorded eight saves but the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team fell 2-1 to Rosemont College Saturday. Sophomore Robyn Beddow scored the lone goal for the Lady Wildcats in the game that was the team’s season opener. Rosemont scored its game winner off a penalty kick late in the second half that sealed its victory.
