SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - Freshman Bryanna Valentine (Mifflinburg) notched a 'double-double' with 16 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team to a 61-55 win over Penn State Schuylkill Monday night. Freshman Mackenzie Brown (Lititz) had 15 points and junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) added 12. The game is the finale for the team that ends the season 3-21 overall and 2-12 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite 20 points from junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 67-61 to Penn State Wilkes Barre Thursday night. Freshmen Bryanna Valentine (Mifflinburg) and Dana Reed (Sunbury) each added 11. The loss drops the team to 2-22 overall and 1-12 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team had four players with double-doubles but it wasn’t enough as the team lost 67-61 to Penn State Scranton. Junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport), had 13 points and 12 rebounds while freshmen Dana Reed (Sunbury), Mackenzie Brown (Lititz) and Bryanna Valentine (Mifflinburg) had12 and 10, 12 and 12 and 10 and 16 respectively. Scranton’s Jessica Seglia notched a double-double as well with 20 points and 13 boards. The loss drops the Wildcats to 2-20 overall and 1-11 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILKES BARRE, Pa. - Freshman Mackenzie Brown (Lititz) notched 13 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team but it wasn't enough as the team lost 70-55 to Penn State Wilkes Barre. The Wildcats trailed 30-22 at the half but low bench numbers were an issue and they couldn't make up the deficit. Junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) added twelve points in the loss and had six rebounds. The loss drops the team to 2-17 overall and 1-8 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Despite leading 19-13 at the half, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team fell 52-44 to Penn State Hazleton Tuesday night. Freshman Bryanna Valentine (Mifflinburg) notched a ‘double-double’ with 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Wildcats while Cannon led Taylor Hazleton with 24. The loss drops Penn College to 2-16 overall and 1-7 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference while the Lions improve to 8-8 and 5-5.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Casey Braun (Hughesville) notched a ‘double-double’ with 12 points and 10 boards to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team in its 49-43 win over University of Pittsburgh – Titusville. The win snaps an eight game losing streak dating back to December 10. Junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) added 11 points in the win that improves the team to 2-15 overall.

The Wildcats led the entire first half and took a 35-33 lead out of halftime. Up by two with 10 minutes left, Penn College got into foul trouble sending Scranton to the line allowing the Lions to take the lead and the victory. The loss drops the team to 1-14 overall and 1-6 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

YORK, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team led 32-25 at the half, but fell 63-60 to Penn State York Sunday. "We got into some early foul trouble in the second," said head coach Matt Wilt. "We sent York to the line too many times." York scored 19 points off the 30 attempts for the game. Junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) led the Wildcats with 17 points but had four fouls the entire second half limiting her time.

Steer was one of three Wildcats in double figures that included freshmen Niesha Williams (Williamsport) with 10 and Brianna Savini (Reading) with 11. Braun averaged 16.5 points in the two-day tournament earning her a place on the all-tournament team.
