ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Despite goals from freshmen Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) and Kaileen Delaney (Lancaster), #3 Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 3-2 to #7 Univ. of Maine-Machias. The game was consolation for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Championships with the Wildcats having lost in their opening round match yesterday.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – In the opening round of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Championships, #3 Pennsylvania College of Technology lost 2-0 to #6 Daemen College (N.Y.). Freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) made 23 saves in the loss, a season and career high. “Reda really kept us in the game,” said head coach Markus Rybak. “She made some strong saves and if it wasn’t for her, it could have been a much different score.” The loss knocks the Wildcats out of contention for the championship. They will play a consolation game on Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite nine saves from freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 1-0 to Alfred University Saturday. The goal was a penalty kick awarded to the Saxons in the closing seconds of the first half. The loss drops the Wildcats to 8-4-2 overall ending their regular season.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After being down 4-1, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team mounted a comeback and tied Susquehanna University 4-4 in double overtime. Senior Kirsten Steer (South Williamsport) and freshmen Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) and Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) each scored a goal in the second half to help with the comeback. Freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) made 18 saves in the draw. The team is now 8-3-2 overall.

ALFRED, N.Y. - Freshman Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) had 18 saves in the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team's 4-0 loss to Alfred State College. The Wildcats had a tough time getting any offense going totaling six shots to Alfred State's 31. The loss drops the team to 8-3-1 overall.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – It was an entire team effort as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeated Valley Forge Christian College 6-0. Six different players earned their way onto the scoring sheet with freshman Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) notching the game winner. Freshmen Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) and Kirsten Foti (Landing, N.J.) shared the shutout in goal notching four and two saves respectively. The win improves the Wildcats to 8-2-1 overall.

DOVER, Del. - Despite nine saves from freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Wesley College. The Wildcats were outshot 26-2 in the match. The loss is only the second of the season and drops the team to 7-2-1.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) scored the game winner as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeated College of Saint Elizabeth 4-1 Wednesday night. Freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) records the win with seven saves. The victory is the third straight and improves the team to 7-1-1 overall.

Freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) notched eight saves in the win that is the team's second straight. The Wildcats improve to 6-1-1 overall.

MONACA, Pa. - Junior Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) scored a career high four goals as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team won 17-0 against Penn State Beaver. The 17 goals are the most the Wildcats have scored this season as they improve to 5-1-1 overall. Also for the Wildcats, freshman Kaileen Delaney (Lancaster) notched a hat trick.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) made 15 saves in the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team’s draw with Lycoming College. The Wildcats outshot Lycoming 29-19. The game also marked the third annual Battle for the Lumber. Though the contest officially ended in a tie, both teams went to a shootout to determine the winner of the trophy. The Warriors missed their first three shots, while Penn College was perfect making it the first time the team has ever won the award. With the tie, the Wildcats go to 4-1-1 overall while Lycoming goes to 1-5-2.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) scored the game winner in the 65th minute to help lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team to a 3-1 win over Washington Adventist University. Moyer’s goal came off a cross from freshman Kaileen Delaney (Lancaster) in what proved to be a heavily contested game. The win lifts the Wildcats to 4-1 overall.

Freshmen keepers Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) and Kristin Foti (Landing, N.J.) combined for the shared shutout.
