MEDIA, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 80-62 to #1 Penn State Brandywine in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Quarterfinals Tuesday. Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) led all scorers with 22 points while senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) notched 13. With the loss, the Lady Wildcats end their season 12-13 overall and 7-8 in the PSUAC.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) scored a season high 37 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team to a 93-89 win over Penn State Scranton Sunday. The win clinches as a spot in the conference playoffs for the Lady Wildcats and is the final game of the regular season. Senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in the game that is the highest scoring for the team. The win evens the team out to 12-12 overall and 7-7 in the Penn State University Athletics Conference.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) scored 15 points leading the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team in its 68-44 loss to Southern Virginia University. Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) notched 13 and sophomore Mackenzie Brown (Lititz) added 11 in the game. The Lady Wildcats are now 11-12 overall with one game remaining in the regular season.

SCRANTON, Pa. - Senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) notched 18 points in the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team's 76-52 loss to Penn State Scranton. The loss drops the team to 6-7 in the Penn State University Athletics Conference. With only one more conference game remaining, against Scranton, the Lady Wildcats are in a must-win situation to qualify for a playoff berth. Sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport) added 10 points and 16 rebounds in the loss.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite 11 points and 10 rebounds from sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 70-54 to Penn State York Tuesday. Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) added 19 points in the game. The loss drops the team to 11-10 overall and 6-6 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. They now must win at least one of the two remaining conference matches to earn a berth in the conference playoffs.

The win is the third straight and improves the team to 11-8 overall and 6-4 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Lady Wildcats were only up 30-27 at the break, but put on an offensive show in the second to take the victory. Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) led with 20 points while sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport) notched a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. The win improves the team to 10-8 overall and 5-4 in the PSUAC.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport) scored a personal high 21 points and added 12 rebounds to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team to a 66-60 win over Davis College Saturday. With the game tied at 60 and 24 seconds remaining, senior Kierstin Steer hit a jumper giving the Wildcats the advantage. Some clutch free throw shooting from Matzinger and freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) helped close out the game with the six-point advantage. Jamie Steer ended the game with 12 and had 10 rebounds while Kierstin Steer had 11 points. The win improves the team to 9-8 overall.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite leading throughout most of the game, the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost 94-88 in overtime to undefeated conference opponent Penn State Brandywine. The Lady Wildcats led 37-35 at the break and were ahead as high as 15 in the game that evens them out to 4-4 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference and 8-8 overall. Freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) scored a season and personal high 33 points.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With the help of 20 points and 13 rebounds from sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team defeated Central Penn College 80-71 Monday. With the game delayed over an hour due to the inclement weather, the Lady Wildcats had to shake off a rough start in the first half that saw them go into the break tied at 38. Also for the team, freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) scored 18 points and added 21 rebounds while sophomore Mackenzie Brown (Lititz) had 13 and 16, respectively. The win improves the team to 8-7 overall.

Penn College led at the half 40-34 but a second half surge from the Pioneers took victory away. Sophomore Jenna Matzinger (Coudersport) sank 13 as the Wildcats drop to 2-3 overall.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Against Alfred University, senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) reached the 1,000 point mark to become the first Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball player to reach the milestone in school history. Steer needed 12 points to accomplish the feat and ended the game with 13 scoring the historic bucket with just over three minutes left in the game. The Wildcats lost to the Saxons 94-64 with freshman Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) leading the way with 14 points. The loss drops the team to 2-2 overall.
