BURLINGTON, Vt. – The #1 University of Maine – Fort Kent ended the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer championship run as they won 2-0 in the USCAA Men’s Soccer Semifinals. Senior keeper Dan Shaffer (Shermans Dale) had five saves in the loss. Penn College ends its 2010 season with an impressive 16-4 overall record and 10-0 in the PSUAC.

BURLINGTON, Vt. – No. 4 Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team defeated No. 5 Concordia College in a penalty kick thriller 4-3 to advance to the USCAA Men’s Soccer Championship Semifinals. The Wildcats ended regulation time tied 1-1 and had two scoreless overtime periods before going into penalty kicks.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – In a total show of domination, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team defeated Penn State –New Kensington 2-0 to take home the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship. Senior Seth Rearick (Watsontown/Warrior Run) scored the game winner while freshman Tristan Smith (Bermuda/St. Johnsbury) netted the clincher. In a game where the Wildcats dominated possession, they outshot New Kensington 37 to four. Penn College has earned a berth into the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Championship and will travel to Burlington, Vt. for the tournament.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Patrick Masango (Harrisburg/International) netted two to help lift the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Penn State-Brandywine. The game was the Pennsylvania University Athletic Conference Playoff Semifinals matchup. The top seeded Wildcats will now take on Penn State-New Kensington for the championship.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa – A goal in the 88th minute from Misericordia University clinched a 2-1 victory over the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team. Freshman Chris Brennan (New Hope/New Hope Solebury) scored in the loss as the Wildcats snap a 10 game win streak. Penn College finishes the regular season 13-3 overall while staying 9-0 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC).

HAZLETON, Pa – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team clinched the top spot of the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference with a 2-0 win against Penn State Hazleton. Freshmen Mitch Pequignot (Trout Run/Liberty) and Chris Brennan (New Hope/New Hope-Solebury) each netted a goal in the win to improve the Wildcats to 13-2 overall and 9-0 in the PSUAC.

The Wildcats now improve to 6-2 overall and 4-0 in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference.

"The team played well," said head coach Enrique Castillo. "The first couple minutes of the game were rough. We settled down though, and started moving the ball a lot better and keeping possession." The Wildcats are now 2-1 overall.
