The Wildcats end the season 4-21 overall and 3-13 in the Penn State University Athletic ConferenceWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Christopher Carrington (Ridley Park) scored 14 and sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) notched a double-double with both 10 points and rebounds in the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team’s 91-75 loss to Penn State Scranton Sunday. Penn College out-rebounded the Lions 64-45 in the game including 32 offensive rebounds. With the loss, the Wildcats finish their 2012-13 season 4-21 overall and 3-13 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Lions hit 10 threes to help their cause in the win over Penn CollegeNEW KENSINGTON, Pa. – Sophomore Scott Fenton scored 20 points to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team in its 77-75 loss to PSU New Kensington. Sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) added 19 points and sophomore Jason Greenfield (Wellsboro) notched a double-double with 15 points and 16 rebounds. With the loss, the Wildcats are now 4-20 overall and 3-12 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) led with 15 points and 11 rebounds and sophomore Jason Greenfield (Wellsboro) added 16. With the loss, the Wildcats to 4-19 overall and 3-11 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats will look to bounce back from the loss when they travel to PSU York on ThursdayWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Nathaniel Brown (Philadelphia) notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 66-55 to Penn State York Tuesday. Sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) led the team with 16 points and sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) had 13. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 4-18 overall and 3-10 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats brought it to within six in the second but ran out of steamUNIONTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) scored 13 and sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) notched a double with 10 points and rebounds as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 81-57 to Penn State Fayette Saturday. Fayette shot an impressive 29-57 (.510) from the field in the win. The loss drops the Wildcats to 4-17 overall and 3-9 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats upset third ranked DuBoisDUBOIS, Pa. - With the help of 14 points from sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall), the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team beat Penn State DuBois 62-60 in conference action Saturday. The game was tied at 58 with two minutes left when freshman Nathaniel Brown (Philadelphia) hit a jumper and made a free throw to put the Wildcats on top. Brown ended the game with 13. The win snaps a five game losing streak and improves the team to 4-16 overall and 3-8 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats opened strong but struggled with turnovers in the lossWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) notched 14 points as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 67-50 to Penn State Schuylkill Wednesday. Despite out-rebounding Schuylkill 48-35, the Wildcats struggled with ball control committing 36 turnovers in the game. Penn College out-rebounded Brandywine 52-50WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) scored 11 points while sophomore James Fortenberry (Lemoyne) added 10 in the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team’s 92-52 loss to Penn State Brandywine Thursday. The Lions dominated from the start never giving up the lead. The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-15 overall and 2-7 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Penn College scored 39 points to Wilkes Barre's 40 in the second halfWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite 24 points from sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall), the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 78-63 to Penn State Wilkes Barre Saturday. Wilkes Barre out-rebounded the Wildcats 40-25 including 18 offensive rebounds helping the cause. With the loss, Penn College falls to 3-13 overall and 2-6 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Despite the loss, the Wildcats had five players in double figures with sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) leading the team with 15 points. The loss drops Penn College to 3-12 overall and 2-5 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Fenton led with 17 points and hit the game-winning shot WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – With the help of 17 points from sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City), the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team defeated Penn State Greater Allegheny 57-55 in Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) action Saturday. The win snaps an eight-game losing for the Wildcats as they improve to 2-11 overall and 1-4 in the PSUAC. Adding to the victory was sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) with 11 points and freshman Christopher Carrington (Ridley Park) with 14.

Nathaniel Brown scored a season high 17 pointsWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Freshman Nathanial Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored a season high 17 points as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 94-56 to top-ranked Rochester College (Mich.) Monday. Brown shot 7-10 (.700) from the field including going 3-4 (.750) from beyond the arc. Also in double figures was sophomore Christopher Carrington (Ridley Park) who notched 10. The Wildcats outscored Berkeley 39-30 in the second half, but had a slow start in the first half leading to the seven point loss. The loss drops Penn College to 1-10 overall.

The Wildcats were down just 67-65 with just over a minute of play but could not hit a basket to tie it up in the remaining time. The Wildcats had a three point lead with 10 minutes remaining but could not hold on as Pitt-Titusville capitalized on missed field goals to climb back for the victory.
