LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Sophomore Dan Flynn (Blairstown) placed 39th with a time of 30:42.61 to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team finish 12th at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y. A total of 17 teams were in attendance with SUNY ESF winning it all with 38 team points. “We ran a pretty good race,” said head coach Mike Paulhamus. “We needed to have that perfect race to compete with the top teams here. It’s always a very tough field.” Also for the Wildcats, sophomore Dan Starr (Stewartstown) was 40th with a 30:43.38. In total, more than 160 on the men’s side and 140 on the women’s competed.

MEDIA, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country team captured its 10th consecutive Penn State University Conference Championship Saturday. The Wildcats beat out six other conference schools with a score of 32 with Penn State Greater Allegheny taking second at 53 points. Sophomore Dan Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) was the top finisher for the team medaling at third place with a time of 30:42.

DUBOIS, Pa. – Just six points decided the winner of the Penn State DuBois Invitational as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team took first prize over Penn State Greater Allegheny. The Wildcats scored 52 points to the Lions’ 58. Seven Penn State University Athletic Conference teams were in attendance at the invitational and the win is the third this year for the Wildcats. Sophomore Dan Starr (Stewartstown) was the top finisher for Penn College running a 30:26, good enough for third.

NANTICOKE, Pa. - Freshman Dan Blauvelt (Flemington, N.J.) took second to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country team to a first place finish at the Penn College/Luzerne County Community College Invitational held in Nanticoke. Blauvelt ran the 5.5 mile men's course in 32:35. As a team, the Wildcats placed four in the top ten on the men's side.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - With over 170 runners and NCAA Division II and III schools in attendance, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country team ad a respectable showing at the Lock Haven University River Run Invitational. The Wildcsats placed 11th out of 12 teams in the 8K race with sophomore Dan Starr (Stewartstown) placing 103rd with a personal best 29:55. Carnegie Mellon University took the top spot in the team standings with host Lock Haven University in second.

DALLAS, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team took ninth place at the Misericordia University Cougar Classic Saturday. Elizabethtown took first in the 14 team field that featured 174 runners. Freshman Dan Blauvelt (Flemington, N.J.) was the top finisher for the Wildcats placing 46th with a time of 30:06.4 in the 8K race.

SCRANTON, Pa. – Sophomore Daniel Starr (Stewartstown) finished second and helped the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team take first place at the Penn State Scranton Invitational Saturday. Starr recorded a time of 31:18 in the 8K race. The Wildcats placed first out of nine teams and had four runners finish in the top ten. The win is the first for the team this season.
