BUTLER, Pa. – No. 4 Selma University came from behind to defeat the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team and end its run at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Small College World Series Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 5-4 despite leading through the first three innings. Sophomore Matthew Demilio (Greensburg) recorded the loss while sophomore Zachary Buterbaugh (Conestoga) led the offense with two runs and an RBI off of a hit.

BUTLER, Pa. - Sophomore Zachary Weil (Kutztown) racked up two hits including a home run and three RBI to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team in an 8-5 upset over Clark State Community College in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Small College World Series. Junior Brian Santangelo (Middletown, Conn.) recorded the win throwing a complete game with two earned runs and seven strikeouts. The win keeps the Wildcats alive in the elimination bracket with No. 4 Selma University next up for the team.

BUTLER, Pa. – Sophomore Craig Watson (McEwensville) came up big once again for the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team pitching a seven-hit victory against No. 6 Southern Virginia University in a win or go home game at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Small College World Series. Watson got some help from the Wildcat defense that made some strong defensive plays including a game-ending double play. With the win, Penn College is still alive in the double elimination tournament after having lost its opening round game.

BUTLER, Pa. – Despite leading through the first four innings, No. 10 Pennsylvania College of Technology lost 8-5 to No. 7 Lindenwood-Belleville University Monday in the opening game of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Small College World Series at Pullman Park. The Lynx pulled off a late-inning surge scoring the go-ahead runs in the fifth inning. The loss now places the Wildcats in the loser’s bracket of the double-elimination tournament.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Needing to beat No. 1 Penn State Greater Allegheny twice to capture the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Championship, the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team came up just short winning game one 3-0 but falling 10-1 in the final game of the tournament. Sophomore Craig Watson (McEwensville) recorded game one’s win pitching a complete game shutout with only six hits.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - After losing to No. 1 Penn State Greater Allegheny 6-2 in its first game of the day, the Pennsylvania College of Technology bounced back defeated No. 3 Penn State Brandywine 5-2 stamping its ticket to the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championship game. Sophomore Matthew Demilio (Greensburg) recorded the win against Brandywine allowing only six hits. The Wildcats will face Greater Allegheny in the championship match Saturday and must defeat them twice to win the trophy.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Sophomore Zachary Buterbaugh (Conestoga) hit a walk-off RBI single to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team to a 3-2 win over No. 3 Penn State Brandywine in the first round of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championships Thursday. With two outs in the top of the eighth, Buterbaugh hit his second single of the day up the middle to score freshman Rantz Mahaffey (Linden) from third. Junior Joshua Longsderff (Columbia) records the win pitching all eight innings with six strikeouts.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Zachary Weil (Kutztown) had four hits including a home run and four RBI as the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team split with Penn State Brandywine in its final regular season conference doubleheader Sunday. The Wildcats won 13-7 but struggled offensively in game two losing 7-1. Junior Joshua Longsderff (Columbia) recorded the win in game one. With the split, the team is now 19-13 overall and 16-2 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. They have clinched the second seed for conference playoffs that start Thursday.

WILKES BARRE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team scored 26 runs on its way to two wins against Penn State Wilkes Barre 15-0 and 11-0. Both games ended in five with sophomore Matthew Demilio (Greensburg) throwing a complete game shutout in game one and sophomore Craig Watson (McEwensville) and freshman Luke Zamiskie (Latrobe) combining for the shutout in game two. The Wildcats are now 18-12 overall and 15-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC).

SCRANTON, Pa. - Sophomore Craig Watson (McEwensville) and junior Joshua Longsderff (Columbia) each recorded a win on the mound as the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team swept Penn State Scranton 11-1 and 19-5 Thursday. Watson and Longsderff both opened each game pitching scoreless innings as the Wildcat offense plated 30 runs. With the wins, the team improves to 16-12 overall and 13-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC).

HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team was stunned in game one of a doubleheader against Penn State Harrisburg as pitcher Derek Slagle recorded a no-hitter winning 3-0. The Lions took game two of the non-conference contest Tuesday 4-3 as junior Cody Buterbaugh (Conestoga) recorded three hits. With the losses, the Wildcats are now 14-12 overall.

The Monarchs put up 15 hits in the nine-inning game. Junior Cody Buterbaugh (Conestoga) and sophomore Travis Hendershot both recorded two RBI in the loss. The Wildcats are now 14-8 overall.

MONACA, Pa. - Sophomore Travis Hendershot (Muncy) notched five hits and three RBI to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team sweep Penn State Beaver in a conference doubleheader Sunday. The Wildcats won 6-4 and 7-4 solidifying their top spot in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC)_ standings. The wins are their fourth straight and improve the team to 12-7 overall and 9-1 in the PSUAC.

The Wildcats took game one 5-1 with junior Joshua Longsderff (Columbia) recording the win and were just edged out in game two losing in eight innings 1-0. With the split, the team is now 5-1 in the PSUAC and 8-7 overall.

The team took an early lead in the game but the Wilkes bats came alive against the Wildcat pitching staff to secure the victory. The loss drops Penn College to 3-6 overall while the Colonels improve to 8-4.

The Wildcats trailed throughout the entire game giving up three runs in the third fifth and seventh inning. With the loss, they now fall to 3-5 overall.

The game was held at Pelican Park in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and is the third in the team's Ripken Experience Tournament. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 2-3 overall.

The game was the second of the day for the Wildcats as they competed in the first day of the Ripken Experience Tournament in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Penn College defeated County College of Morris 5-4 in the day's opener.
