WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team made a strong showing at the Eastern Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championships this past weekend. Freshmen Brandon Allison (Roaring Spring) and Kelvin Dewalt (Easton) and senior Zack Plannick (Coraopolis) took top spots in men’s recurve, bow hunter and compound respectively. The event, hosted at Penn College, hosted more than 70 archers from regional schools including James Madison University, University of Connecticut and Penn State University.

MANSFIELD, Conn. – Junior Glen Thomas (Mercer) and freshmen Ashley Baker (Coudersport) and Kelvin Dewalt (Easton) took home individual trophies as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team competed at the New England Collegiate Archery Tournament at the University of Connecticut this past weekend. Thomas won men’s recurve while Baker took first in women’s compound and Dewalt was victorious in the bowhunter class.

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team captured seven first place trophies at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial Invitational this past weekend. Individually, senior Zack Plannick (Coraopolis) and freshman Ashley Baker (Coudersport) won the men and women’s compound competitions respectively while sophomore Joseph Dowdrick (Lebanon) won the bowhunter competition.

Wildcat Archers Hold 'Youth Fun Day' at Field House

The Penn College archery team hosted a Youth Fun Day at the Field House at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3. More than 25 young archers from the Youth Hunter Education Challenger attended the activity, which included the first-ever Penn College Pro/Am.

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Juniors Danny Wido (Shickshinny) and Glen Thomas (Mercer) took top spots in the men’s compound and recurve respectively as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team competed in the U.S. Indoor East Regional at James Madison University. In total, 17 members competed in the competition with 15 placing in the top ten of their respective class.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Senior Zachary Plannick (Corapolis) took first place in the men’s compound competition as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team competed at the World Archery Festival in Las Vegas, Nev. this past weekend. The recurve team of junior Glen Thomas (Mercer), senior Tyler Gale (Kennedyville, Md.) and sophomore Hilary Fisher (Temple) placed first in the team recurve competition.
