U.S. Intercollegiate Archery Championships - Cedar City, Utah (A)

sCEDAR CITY, Utah - At the United States Collegiate Archery (USCA) Championships this past week, Pennsylvania College of Technology sophomore Kendel Baier (Jersey Shore) dominated women's bowhunter taking the national title in the individual competition. Her efforts helped the Wildcat archery team take third overall behind winner Texas A&M and second place James Madison University. Baier took home all three major titles in her discipline capturing first in the women's bowhunter team competition with sophomore Brianna Batykefer (Butler) and freshman Cayla Easley (Carlisle), as well as in the mixed bowhunter competition with senior Joseph Dowdrick (Lebanon). In addition, the women's compound team of junior Ashley Baker (Coudersport) and sophomores Rebecca Boyer (Macungie) and Nicole Lapinski (Bloomsburg) took home the trophy for the team competition.
East Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championship - Williamsport, Pa. (A)

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team hosted the Eastern Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championships this past weekend. Overall, the Wildcats placed second behind winner James Madison University. Atlantic Cape Community College rounded out the top three. The wildcats had two individual winners: freshman William McFadden (New Tripoli) at men’s bowhunter and sophomore Justus Leimbach (Westminster, Md.) in men’s compound. In addition, 14 archers from the squad made the cut for the All-East team.

STORRS, Conn. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team had a dominant performance taking home 12 first place trophies between the team and individual competitions at the Northeast Collegiate Archery Tournament hosted by the University of Connecticut. Sophomores Nicole Lapinski (Bloomsburg) and Kendel Baier (Jersey Shore) and freshmen William McFadden (New Tripoli) and Greggory Foust (Murrysville) each took home individual trophies while a total of 12 Wildcats placed in the top three in the six disciplines.

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Senior Joseph Dowdrick (Lebanon) took the top spot in the men’s bowhunter and junior Ashley Baker (Coudersport) did the same in the women’s compound as the Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team put up a strong showing at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial Invitational at James Madison University. The Wildcats took home six total trophies which included four team awards in the men’s compound, men’s bowhunter, women’s compound and mixed bowhunter competitions.

MAYS LANDING, N.J. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team took home eight first place trophies at the US Collegiate Archery (USCA) Regional Indoor Championships hosted by Atlantic Cape Community College Sunday. Senior Joseph Dowdrick (Lebanon) and sophomores Kendel Baier (Jersey Shore) and Rebecca Boyer (Macungie) each earned individual titles while the male bowhunter and male and female compound teams claimed first. Rounding out the medal winners were the mixed bowhunter and compound teams.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team competed at the Penn State University Invitational Sunday. Over 50 archers were in attendance at the event held indoors on the campus of Penn State. Freshmen Greggory Foust (Murrysville) and Samantha Lantz (Ulster) took the top spots in the men’s and women’s recurve competition, respectively.
