LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - With over 170 runners and NCAA Division II and III schools in attendance, the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country team ad a respectable showing at the Lock Haven University River Run Invitational. The Wildcsats placed 11th out of 12 teams in the 8K race with sophomore Dan Starr (Stewartstown) placing 103rd with a personal best 29:55. Carnegie Mellon University took the top spot in the team standings with host Lock Haven University in second.

Sophomore Dan Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) and freshman Dan Blauvelt (Flemington, N.J.) just missed breaking the 30 minute mark running 30:33 (112th) and 30:58 (119th), respectively. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Wildcats were freshmen Justin Huey (Kersey) and Max Wagner (Hanover). Huey placed 139th at 32:10 and Wagner 146th with 32:47.

Next up, Penn College travels to Luzerne County Community College to co-host an invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29.
