Corey Teeple led the Wildcat shooting an 82 on a par 71 course

MACUNGIE, Pa. – Sophomore Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) shot an 82 to help the Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team to a first place finish at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Invitational Monday. The win is the first on the year for the Wildcats as they also had junior Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) take second with an 86 and freshman Brian MacPherson (Salem, N.H.) at third with an 87. The event was held at the Brookside Country Club on a par 71 course with five teams and 27 golfers in attendance.

Also for Penn College, freshman Zachary Frazier (Fort Worth, Texas) shot a 91 while sophomore Nicholas Krupka (Allentown) was right behind with a 93. Freshman Matthew King (Southampton, Pa.) rounded out the finishers with a 104.

Next up, Penn College travels to Edgemont Country Club for the Penn State Brandywine Invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
