WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – It was an entire team effort as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeated Valley Forge Christian College 6-0. Six different players earned their way onto the scoring sheet with freshman Robyn Beddow (Lancaster) notching the game winner. Freshmen Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) and Kirsten Foti (Landing, N.J.) shared the shutout in goal notching four and two saves respectively. The win improves the Wildcats to 8-2-1 overall.

After Beddow scored in the second, it took Penn College 40 minutes to net another with freshman Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) scoring on a cross from freshman Alexandra Brennan (Saint Clair). Junior Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) made it 3-0 in the 44th bending a cross into the corner.

In the half, the Wildcats outshot Valley Forge 15-2.

In the 60th, senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) sent a through pass for freshman Laresa Paden (Mifflintown) who finished it off. In almost the same exact play just ten seconds later, Steer scored from Walters.

Brennan closed out the game in the 89th taking a deflection off the crossbar.

Penn College travels to Alfred State College on Wednesday, Oct. 17 for a 7 p.m. match.
