Vermilya had nine saves in the loss
DOVER, Del. - Despite nine saves from freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville), the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team lost 2-0 to Wesley College. The Wildcats were outshot 26-2 in the match. The loss is only the second of the season and drops the team to 7-2-1.
Wesley scored a goal in each half with Chelsi Biener opening things in the 22nd. Karysa Pikoulas added some cushion netting a ball in the 81st.
Next up, Penn College hosts Valley Forge Christian College on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.
