The win is the third straight for the Wildcats

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Jocelyn Moyer (Tower City) scored the game winner as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team defeated College of Saint Elizabeth 4-1 Wednesday night. Freshman keeper Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) records the win with seven saves. The victory is the third straight and improves the team to 7-1-1 overall.

Sophomore Valeria Passalacqua (McAlisterville) got Penn College on the board early taking a deflection from the post in the fourth. Moyer made the game 2-0 in the 45th when she redirected a pass from senior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport).

In the half, the Wildcats outshot Saint Elizabeth 18-7.
Jasmine Bristol cut the lead in the 65th taking a through ball from Cassidy Crane to beat Vermilya. Freshmen Jamie Steer (South Williamsport) and Madilyn Walters (Lewistown) put the game out of reach though with goals in the 85th and 87th.

For the game, Penn College totaled 40 shots and had 10 corner kicks.

The Wildcats next travel to Wesley College on Saturday, Oct. 6 for a 6 p.m. match.
