Fall 2012 Women's Soccer: Mt. Aloysius College

The late second half goal lifted the Wildcats to the victory improving them to 3-1
CRESSON, Pa. - Freshman Cayla Easley scored in the 75th minute to give the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's soccer team the 3-2 win over Mt. Aloysius College Thursday. Sophomore Valeria Passalacqua (McAlisterville) scored two in the win. The Wildcats now improve to 3-1 overall.
The Mounties took the 1-0 lead with a goal in the 18th. Passalacqua followed with two quick goals in the 22nd and 24th to give Penn College the lead. Easley assisted on Passalacqua's second goal.
The Wildcats took the lead into the break, but Mt. Aloysius quickly erased it with a goal at the 48 mark. Despite dominating play, the Wildcats would remained tied until Easley netted a goal in the 75th for the win.
Freshman Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) recorded the victory with two saves. Penn College outshot the Mounties 13-5.
Next up, Penn College hosts Washington Adventist on Sunday, Sept. 16 for a 2 p.m. game.
