Spring 2012 Archery: New England Collegiate Archery Tournament - Storrs, Conn.

Sophomore Ashley Baker took second in the women's compound competition
STORRS, Conn. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology archery team took home six first place trophies at the New England Collegiate Archery Tournament this past weekend. The tournament, hosted by the University of Connecticut (UCONN), had over 50 archers in attendance from UCONN, Columbia, and Penn State. Sophomore Zachary Bixby (Gillett) for men’s compound and freshman Jordan McGowan (Carlisle) for men’s bowhunter won first place in their respective disciplines. Penn College also took tops spots in the team rounds in men’s bowhunter and compound and mixed recurve and bowhunter.
Next up, Penn College hosts the East Region Intercollegiate Archery Championships on Saturday, Apr. 21 and Sunday, Apr. 22.
