Fall 2011 Men's Soccer: Albright College

The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-3-2 overall
READING, Pa. – Sophomore Chris Brennan (New Hope) notched a goal but the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s soccer team lost 4-1 to Albright College Thursday night. Sophomore Mitch Pequignot (Trout Run) and freshman Matteo Frazzoni (Southampton, Bermuda) assisted on the goal that came in the 54th. The loss drops the Wildcats to 3-3-2 overall.
Albright scored two quick goals in the seventh and ninth minutes and then tacked another on before the break. Brennan headed in a cross from Pequignot and Frazzoni to make it 3-1 but Albright came back in the 60th to round out the scoring.
Freshman keeper Aaron Volz (West Chester) recorded five saves in the loss. As a team, the Wildcats recorded seven shots and two corners.
Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Mont Alto on Saturday, Sept. 24 for a 1 p.m. match.
