Penn College totaled 41 rebounds for the game
DUBOIS, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s basketball team lost a tight 69-55game to Penn State DuBois Saturday afternoon. Freshman Bryanna Valentine (Mifflinburg) led the Wildcats with 12 points and eight rebounds. The loss drops the team to 2-18 overall and 1-9 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Penn College trailed the entire game but kept it close. At halftime, DuBois had the 33-22 lead. In the last minutes of the game, the DuBois offense sank some buckets to take the four-point victory.
Also for the Wildcats, junior Casey Braun (Hughesville) and sophomore Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) each had 10 points. The team shot 36 percent from the field and had 41 rebounds.
Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Brandywine on Monday, Feb. 6 for a 6 p.m. game.
