Junior Kierstin Steer led the team with 15 points
MCKEESPORT, Pa. - Junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) notched 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Pennsylvania College of Technology women's basketball team lost 81-46 to Penn State Greater Allegheny. Freshman Dana Reed (Sunbury) added 12 points and seven rebounds in the loss. The Wildcats now drop to 1-13 overall and 1-5 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Penn College shot 30 percent from the field and had a tough afternoon on the charity stripe going 12-25(.480). Rebounding was an issue as they pulled down 30 boards to the Lions' 50.
Also for the Wildcats, freshman Niesha Williams (Williamsport) had 12 points.
Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Scranton on Wednesday, Jan. 18 for a 6 p.m. match.
