The Wildcats trailed 31-30 at the half

MEDIA, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team pulled out an upset with a 66-62 victory over Penn State Brandywine. Brandywine is second in the Penn State University Athletic Conference south division while the Wildcats are in last place in the north. Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) led the Wildcats with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Bryant House (Columbia Crossroads) and freshmen Colton Acorn (Wellsboro) and Michael Smith (Pleasantville, N.J.) each added 13 points in the win.

Penn College (3-18, 3-9) trailed at halftime 31-30. Down enine with eight minutes left, the team put on a run capped off by a jumper from Acorn gave the team the lead with just over a minute left. The Lions, forced to foul, sent Fenton and Acorn to the line and both made the buckets to seal the victory.

The Wildcats outrebounded Brandywine 47-35 limiting the teams' second chance opportunities. They shot 42 percent (23-54) from the field and limited Brandywine to 28 percent (21-74).

Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State Scranton on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m.
