The loss drops the Wildcats to 2-18 overall and 2-9 in the PSUAC

DUBOIS, Pa. – Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) notched 14 as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s basketball team lost 78-49 to Penn State DuBois Saturday. The Wildcats were down 47-18 at half, a deficit too great to overcome. The loss drops the team to 2-18 overall and 2-9 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

The DuBois defense was strong in the first half holding the Wildcats to 24 percent shooting. In the second half, it was a different story as both teams scored 31 in the half.

Penn College ended the game with 24 rebounds to the Lions’ 39 and shot 42 percent from the field. Also for the team, freshman Trevor Dietrich (Quakertown) scored nine points.

Next up, Penn College travels to Penn State Brandywine on Monday, Feb. 6 for an 8 p.m. game.
