2011-12 Men's Basketball: PSU Greater Allegheny

The Wildcats were up 27-25 at the half
MCKEESPORT, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team fell just short to Penn State Greater Allegheny in a 75-70 double overtime loss. Freshman Scott Fenton (Dickson City) led the team with 24 points while freshman Colton Acorn (Wellsboro) notched a 'double-double' with 15 points and 12 rebounds. The loss drops the team to 1-13 overall and 1-5 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Penn College had the lead going into halftime at 27-25. At the end of regulation the score was tied at 57. Down by three in the first overtime, sophomore Ethan Kline (Bellefonte) hit a three from 25 feet out to tie it up and send it into the second overtime. Greater Allegheny held tough and took the game with the five point lead.
Kline ended the game with 16.
The Wildcats were outrebounded 55-35 and had troubles at the free throw line going 19-40 (.475).
Next up, Penn College travels to Arcadia University on Monday, Jan. 16 for an 8 p.m. game.
