Senior Lyndsey Smith had 23 kills to lead the Wildcats to a 3-0 sweep

DUBOIS, Pa. – Senior Lyndsey Smith (Mechanicsburg) notched 23 assists and six digs to help lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep Penn State DuBois. The win is the team’s third consecutive. Freshman Melissa Lake (Winburne) led the team with six kills as the Wildcats improve to 7-6 overall and 4-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.

Penn College dominated from the start and took all three sets easily 25-12, 25-19, 25-4. Freshman Kelly Hebert also had a strong game with five kills, three digs and a block.

As a team, the Wildcats totaled 29 kills, four aces and 24 digs.

Next up, Penn College will travel to Penn State Hazleton for a single match on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m.
