MONACA, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s volleyball dropped its first game of the season 3-0 against a tough Rochester College at the Penn State Beaver Volleyball Classic. “It was our first match,” said head coach Bambi Hawkins. “We came out really strong, but Rochester is a good team and already had played six games.” The win improves the Warriors to 5-2 while the Wildcats start the season 0-1.
It was a tight first set, with the Wildcats keeping pace with Rochester. Tied at 12, the Warriors made a run and took the set 25-16. Rochester easily took set two 25-15. Penn College had a 17-15 lead in the third, but weren’t able to hold on and fell 25-22
