Fall 2011 Cross Country: PSU Lehigh Valley Invitational - Allentown, Pa.

The men's cross country team won its third straight invitational
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania College of Technology men's cross country team won its third straight race at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Invitational Saturday. Seven teams competed in the event with 51 total runners. Junior Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) led the team finishing second with a time of 35:37 in the 5.8 mile course.
The Wildcats placed seven in the top 20 with freshman Dan Starr (Stewartstown) eighth in a time of 37:22. Freshman Dan Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) was 11th with a time of 38:01, freshman Dan Rose (Albrightsville) ran a 38:38 placing 13th and junior Will Fuka (Clifton, Va.) was 14th at 38:40.
Also for Penn College, senior Corvin Oberholtzer (Wellsboro) placed 15th in a time of 38:42 and sophomore Ed Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) rounded out the top 20 finishers in 19th at 39:44.
The Wildcats next travel to Penn State Fayette for the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 22.
