Senior Corvin Oberholtzer placed 10th in the 46 man field

READING, Pa. – Seven runners finished in the top 20 as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team placed second at the Albright College Invitational. The Wildcats were just nine points short of first place Catholic University in the five team field that also included Alvernia University, Penn State Abington and Albright College. Junior Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) was the top finisher for the Wildcats placing third with a time of 29:48.

In a field of 46 runners, senior Corvin Oberholzter (Wellsboro) ran a 31:21 to place 10th while freshman Dan Starr (Stewartstown) wasn’t far behind with a time of 31:51 finishing 12th. Senior Seth Beckman (Linden) was 13th running a time of 32:12.

Also for the Wildcats, freshman Dan Flynn (Blairstown, N.J.) ran a 32:30 placing 14th while freshman Dan Rose (Albrightsville) was 17th at 32:57. Junior Will Fuka (Clifton, Va.) finished out the top 20 finishers at 18th with a time of 32:58.

Next up, Penn College will race in the Penn State Wilkes Barre Invitational on Sat. Sept. 17th.
