Junior Travis Cain finished 19th to lead the Wildcats at the NEPA Classic
WILKES BARRE, Pa. – Junior Travis Cain (Bloomsburg) finished 19th with a time of 21:25 as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men’s cross country team finished fifth at the NEPA Classic hosted by King’s College. The University of Scranton won the 6k in which seven teams competed.
Also for Penn College, senior Corvin Oberholzter (Wellsboro) was 39th at 21:52 while freshman Daniel Starr (Stewartstown) ran 22:06 finishing 61st. Senior Seth Beckman (Linden) was 99th with a time of 22:51, sophomore Edward Knyff (Ocean Gate, N.J.) was 139th at 23:25 and junior Robert Forbes (Warren) finished 140th at 23:34.
The Wildcats will next travel to Reading, Pa. for the Albright Invitational on Sept. 10. The race is set to start at 10:30 a.m.
