The Wildcats were just eight points shy of winner PSU Mont Alto
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Chad Vuoccolo (Lock Haven) shot a 79 on a par 72 to place second and help the Pennsylvania College of Technology golf team to a second place finish at its home invitational Monday. Penn State Mont Alto was the winner scoring a 320 with the Wildcats just behind with a 328. Four teams competed at the White Deer Golf Club with a total of 22 golfers in attendance.
Also for Penn College, junior Dan Kramer (Avon, Conn.) and freshman Corey Teeple (Lake Ariel) tied for fourth shooting an 81. Sophomore Alex Howe (Lake Ariel) was ninth with an 87 while senior Kurt Linhart (Zionszille) and junior Joseph Peters (Harrisburg) each shot an 88.
The Wildcats will next travel to Penn State New Kensington for a Penn State University Athletic Conference invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
