Penn College totaled six shots in the loss
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer team lost 7-0 to Susquehanna University Wednesday night despite 12 saves from freshman keeper Stephanie Koleno (Moshannon). The loss drops the team with 0-5-2 overall.
Susquehanna scored four unanswered goals in the first half with Marissa DeParto scoring the game-winner in the 19th. Koleno notched five saves in the half off of 27 shots. The wildcats had two shots in the period.
As a team, Penn College had six shots total with junior Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) leading with five.
The game was an improvement from last year’s with Susquehanna the 8-0 victor back on Oct. 13.
Next up, the Wildcats travel to Elmira College on Monday, Oct. 10 for a 7 p.m. game.
