The Wildcats were as close as 2-1 before the Defenders scored three to seal the victory
CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Freshman Stephanie Koleno (Moshannon) notched 5 saves but the Pennsylvania College of Technology women’s soccer lost 5-1 to Baptist Bible College in non-conference action Tuesday. Freshman Valeria Passalacqua (McAllisterville) scored the lone goal for the Wildcats as they drop to 0-1-1 overall.
The Defenders scored two in the first half before Penn College brought it to within one in the 48th when freshman Lauren Hammer (Center Valley) made a one touch pass to Passalacqua who made quick work of it. Exhaustion set in though and the Defenders scored three more in the half to seal the victory.
As a team, the Wildcats had 11 shots and three corners.
Penn College will next host Lincoln University on Thursday, Sept. 15 for a 5 p.m. game
