The loss drops the Wildcats to 5-4-2 overall
SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Freshman Aaron Volz (West Chester) had nine saves in the Pennsylvania College of Technology’s 2-0 loss to Susquehanna University Wednesday night. The Wildcats got off three shots in the game with sophomore Chris Brennan (New Hope) tallying the most with two. The loss drops the team to 5-4-2 overall.
The first half was tight with neither team scoring. Volz made seven saves in the half to keep it tied and Penn College in it. Susquehanna’s (5-5) Andrew Murphy came out of the break scoring two straight goals in the 58th and 61st. Penn College was unable to answer.
Susquehanna totaled 23 shots and had eight corner kicks. The Wildcats had three and to respectively.
Next up, Penn College hosts Penn State York on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m.
